Location: Sewickley, PA

Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Sewickley-based, experienced and motivated Application Engineer. Duties include proposal generation, working with clients and prospects over the phone, and generating solution architectures. Also, this person will be responsible for some technical support and engineering projects.

We're looking for dynamic individuals with an outgoing personality that are eager to learn and have a positive attitude as well as 1 to 3 years of prior work experience.

Specific experience with the use of industrial automation products or RTUs, PLC, DCS, or SCADA software is a plus. Experience in a manufacturing setting also a plus. BS in Engineering desired.

Job Description:

  • Set up and configure SCADA hardware and software (iFix, FIX, OPC Server/Driver, Historian, iPower).
  • Good knowledge of VBA.
  • Modify PLCs and HMI applications in the field.
  • Perform factory functional testing.
  • Develop and implements solutions to resolve customer issues.
  • Train customers on how to operate products and application.
  • Implement standard engineering practices.

Candidate should have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in Controls.
  • A strong knowledge of current computer technology and TCP/IP configurations.
  • Knowledge of industrial programming software packages (iFix, FIX).
  • Strong understanding of networking essentials and Microsoft Operating Systems.
